DESCRIPTION
A private collection of motorbikes in a lounge-room
One man’s love of motorcycles led to an obsession. Ian Boyd started the collection because of his love for Vincent motorcycles, and constructed a new house and purpose built lounge-room to accommodate this extensive collection. Vincent motorcycles were made in England between 1933 and 1955. They are considered extremely rare, and Ian has one of the largest collections of Vincent motorbikes in the world. There are 75 motorcycles in the collection including road, dirt and speedway bikes. The collection includes a Royal Enfield, Comet and nearly every model of Vincent motorcycle. There are also several motorised bicycles, an Offenhauser midget race car and an E-Type Jaguar.
