Memorial Museum of Liberty

Museo Memoriale della Libertà is a guide to the memorey of Italian countryside in the war period, 1944-1945. During the visit you can find materials collected in 60 years of research and see the reconstructions made in collaboration with the Institute for Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the Emilia Romagna Region. The visit is divided into a path that presents the reconstructions of the most important episodes of war in the province of Bologna, a collection of around 50 military vehicles and the visit to an original train, consisting of locomotive and freight wagon, used for deportation to concentration camps.
