DESCRIPTION
Created to celebrate Otaru’s role as the place of origin of the railway system in Hokkaido, Otaru University Museum which includes a Transportation Museum is dedicated to all aspects of transport in Hokkaido. Indoor and outdoor displays feature all manner of land- and sea-based vehicles, including a moving steam locomotive and several automobiles.
