“Mini Mania! Big Fun on Little Bikes” Exhibition Opens at Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum
Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum celebrates the minibike craze of the 1960s and 1970s this Summer. Dozens of small companies—as well as major retailers like Sears Roebuck, JC Penney and Montgomery Ward—built and sold minibikes, helping to create an entire generation of motorcycle enthusiasts. Mini Mania! features nearly 40 uniquely engineered minibikes and mini motorcycles. The exhibit runs through October 26, 2025, at the Crawford.

Two new cars have just joined the Museum of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now you can discover the 1976 Lancia Stratos, which competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an all-female team. The 1998 Toyota GT-One also made its debut, marking Toyota's 40th anniversary at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and inspiring this year's livery.
First Vehicle Loaned to the National Corvette Museum Restored and Back on Display
The car that helped build the National Corvette Museum is now restored and back on display. This 1953 Corvette was the first vehicle loaned to the Museum upon its opening and officially donated in 2002. It represents the origin of our mission to educate worldwide audiences on the legacy of America’s Sports Car. Built in Flint, Michigan, 1953 Corvettes were hand-assembled in a repurposed delivery garage on Van Slyke Road. Just 300 were made that year.

1955 Chevrolet Nomad Enriches the Collection of Motte Historical Museum
Motte Historical Museum's newest Addition is this 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Bel Air 2-door wagon. Following a positive response to the 1954 Motorama design concept, GM approved the Nomad for 1955 production. As a prerequisite for approval, the design was to be adapted to the standard A-body Chevrolet chassis, both larger and more widely produced than the Corvette. The use of the A-body also allowed GM to produce the vehicle as a Pontiac.
